Patient Privacy Notice

This notice describes how EndoHelp handles the information patients share when contacting the platform, uploading medical records, or requesting a specialist connection.

What we collect

  • Contact details you provide: name, email, phone (when given), country, and any details you share about your situation.
  • Medical records you upload: imaging (MRI, ultrasound), operative and pathology reports, symptom histories, and prior treatment summaries, when you send them for case review.
  • Communication content: messages you send through forms or advisors.
  • Site usage metadata: pages visited, referring source, device/browser type, and general location (country/region) to improve the site.

How we use it

  • To respond to your inquiry and coordinate case review with clinical partners you choose to engage.
  • To share the specific medical records you provide, only with the clinical partners you have asked us to involve.
  • To improve educational content based on the questions patients ask most often.
  • To operate and secure the site.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell patient information.
  • We do not share your medical records with any provider you have not asked us to involve.
  • We do not publish your story, name, image, or identifying details without your explicit written consent.
  • We do not use behavioral ad tracking targeted at your medical situation.

Sharing with clinical partners

When you request a specialist connection, the specific records you provide are shared with the clinical partner you have asked us to involve — typically EndoGlobal Group or a designated partner — so they can conduct a case review. See our Network Transparency Statement for details on these relationships.

Retention

We retain inquiry and record information only as long as needed to respond to your request and complete any coordinated case review, then according to reasonable operational and legal retention windows. You can request deletion at any time.

Security

We use standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information you share. No system is perfectly secure — please use judgment about the sensitivity of details you send by email or unencrypted channels.

Your choices

  • You can request access to information you have submitted.
  • You can request correction of inaccurate information.
  • You can request deletion of your inquiry, uploaded records, and contact information.
  • You can withdraw consent for a specialist connection at any time.

Children

EndoHelp is not directed at children under 13. Adolescent patients and their parents or guardians may use the platform together for educational purposes; inquiries about care for minors should be made by a parent or legal guardian.
