Editorial Policy

EndoHelp is a patient-education and navigation platform. Our editorial process is designed to keep content accurate, plain-language, balanced, and aligned with credible medical evidence.

How we write

  • Plain language, patient-first — we avoid unnecessary jargon and explain clinical terms in context.
  • Conservative wording — we use "may help," "is designed to," and similar phrasing rather than absolute claims.
  • Balanced discussion of risks, benefits, alternatives, and areas of uncertainty.
  • No absolute claims — we do not describe any treatment as a "cure" and we do not promise pain relief, pregnancy, or absence of recurrence.
  • Individualization — we consistently note that outcomes depend on anatomy, disease severity, prior treatment, and patient goals.

How we source

Content is written from primary medical sources. Preferred sources include:

  • World Health Organization (WHO)
  • NICE NG73 (UK)
  • ESHRE Endometriosis Guideline
  • American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG)
  • Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC)
  • RANZCOG (Australia/New Zealand)
  • NIH / NICHD
  • ASRM and ReproductiveFacts (fertility)
  • World Endometriosis Society
  • Peer-reviewed medical literature

Institutional or team-specific information from EndoGlobal Group and affiliated partners is used only for institutional claims (roster, reported metrics, service model, transparent packages), never as a source for general medical facts.

How we review

Draft content is assigned to a reviewer whose specialty matches the topic. The reviewer flags any statements that overstate benefit, understate risk, or diverge from current guidelines. Ambiguous or evolving areas are noted as uncertain rather than presented as settled. See Medical Review Board for reviewer categories and process.

How we update

  • Clinical pillar pages are reviewed at least annually, or whenever major guidelines change.
  • Each reviewed page displays a last-reviewed date.
  • Travel and logistics content is updated when partner information changes.
  • Policy pages are updated when policy or regulation changes.

How we correct

If you believe any content on this website is inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete, please contact the editorial team through the site. Corrections are made in the page itself with an updated last-reviewed date. Substantive corrections are noted transparently.

Editorial independence

Educational content is independent of any specific commercial recommendation. Comparison content is written to help patients evaluate any qualified specialist team — not only affiliated providers. See our Advertising & Sponsorship Policy and Network Transparency Statement.

What we will not do

  • We do not publish medical claims that cannot be sourced.
  • We do not describe any treatment as a cure or promise outcomes.
  • We do not publish patient stories without explicit written consent.
  • We do not accept content sponsorship that would compromise editorial independence or lead to misleading claims.
  • We do not use fear-based marketing language.
